Stormspell Limited is committed to making this website accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including disabled customers. We aim to provide equal access to our products, information and services and to make reasonable adjustments in line with the Equality Act 2010.

Using this website

We want visitors to be able to:

zoom text and page content without losing important information;
navigate the main content and forms using a keyboard;
use common screen readers and speech-recognition software;
understand page headings, links, instructions and form labels; and
access the website on phones, tablets and desktop computers.

Accessibility of this website

We are working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This website has not yet undergone a full independent WCAG audit, so we do not currently claim full conformance.

A basic review completed on 5 August 2026 found that key pages use an English language setting, a single main heading, labelled order-request fields and meaningful alternative text for visible content images.

Following the review and expanded audit, we added a visitor-facing “skip to main content” link, improved the announced state and keyboard operation of the main dropdown navigation, replaced generic product-link labels with product-specific accessible names, added main-content landmarks to product and checkout templates, corrected missing image alternatives, added a basket heading, named previously unlabelled checkout progress links, strengthened keyboard focus indicators and improved the contrast of the chat control.

The following checks still require confirmation outside the available browser environment:

real-device screen-reader testing with NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on Apple devices;
final confirmation of browser zoom and mobile reflow on physical devices at representative screen sizes; and
periodic retesting of third-party plugins and newly added product content after future updates.

We will address these issues as part of ongoing website improvements and will update this statement when significant changes are made or further testing is completed.

If any part of the website is difficult to use, or you need information in a different format, please contact us. We can discuss reasonable adjustments and alternative ways to provide product information, quotations and ordering assistance.

How we reviewed this website

This statement was prepared and rechecked on 5 August 2026. The expanded review covered the homepage, roofing-supplies page, representative product pages, contact and order-request forms, an empty and populated basket, checkout structure, policy content, common navigation and footer, cookie controls, headings, main-content landmarks, visible image alternatives, form labelling, link and control names, keyboard navigation, focus indication and programmatic colour-contrast checks. This was not an independent WCAG certification or a complete physical-device screen-reader audit.
